Field Rules: (this is straight from the league):  NO urinating on the field - NO Gatorade - NO Coffee - NO spits - NO chewing tobacco - NO smoking  - NO pets - NO Alcohol.  We have been told that the field will be "policed" and anyone found doing any of these things will be asked to leave the park and may be ticketed.  The only beverage aloud at the team bench is water.  Spectators are permitted coffee, pop or tea in the bleachers.

Clean-up:  Each team will be in charge of clean-up at the field they are playing on once or twice throughout the season.  This means that ALL garbage must be picked up from the bleachers and surrounding areas.  I will let you know when our team is responsible for the clean up and I will be looking for a couple of volunteers.

Bench rulesThe only individuals permitted on the bench are the coaching staff and players - no exceptions. We are only permitted to have a team of 10 coaching staff on the bench during a game.

Bench Clean-up: No matter what team is responsible for the evening clean-up - our team bench is the responsibility of the team.  After every game the team and coaching staff must ensure that everything has been picked up and clean.  We have been told by the league that if this is not done after each game we WILL be ticketed by the City. There are no exceptions.

Dressing rooms: We will have no access to any dressing rooms at all this season, therefore, all players must come ready to play.  This means taping, etc.

Arrival TimesNo one is permitted on any of the fields prior to 30 minutes before game time.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

GatesThe league asks that each person to come watch a game donate a toonie.  This money goes to the Midget league to pay for things like referees, time keepers, trainers, etc.

Manning the Gates: Each team will be responsible to man the gates at least twice during the season - it will be evenings that our team is not playing.  We will need 2 individuals to man the gate each night that we are responsible for it.  You will need to arrive to the field at approximately 6:25 and the money will be picked up between 7:30 and 7:45 by either Sarah or Cayley from the league- Their phone numbers will be given to the volunteers that evening.  I don't have the exact dates as of yet - but once I do I will be looking for volunteers.

Sticks: We are responsible for doing sticks at all home games. Once again - when I get the schedule I will let you know and will be looking for volunteers.

School SuspensionsIf a player is suspended from school for any reason, it is league rules that he cannot participate in any practises and/or games during such time and is not permitted to even attend these practises or games.  If for some reason there is a suspension and the coaching staff is not been told and that player has participated in a game - that game is then forfeited and we loose all points earned in that game.  It is the players responsibility to let the coach know of the suspension. It will also be at the coaches discreption when the palyer will be allowed to return.

Trainers/Injuries during games: If a player is hurt during a game and the Supervisory Trainer (supplied by the league) has taken the player out of the game - the trainer has the final say - there are no exceptions to this rule at all. No coaches, parents or team trainers can override their decision.
